Grand Cru Red 2016 is another exploration by Almanac into the world of barrel-aged sour beers. For Grand Cru Red, they added Zinfandel grapes to their French oak-aged imperial sour red ale, and then added California raspberries and whole vanilla beans to develop the beer further. Almanac recommend pariing this with savory beef, venison or duck.
